There's still a week left to apply to this year's Emerging Scholars Conference in Berlin!
The conference on the topic of "Contested Canada: Navigating Past, Present and Future Sovereignties" will be held at the John F. Kennedy Institute at Freie Universität Berlin on June 29 and 30. Please note that we will also offer an open forum for the discussion of ongoing research projects. These projects do not necessarily need to engage with the conference theme – we are open to any project in the realm of Canadian studies. We especially encourage students at the BA level to submit their projects as we intend for this to be an open and non-competitive space. We are also happy to announce that we can offer travel funding!
Submit your abstracts here by March 31 in French, German or English. If you have any questions, get in touch with us at contestedcanada2023@gmail.com.
We hope to see many of you there!
